Rose Wan-Mui Chu, Ph.D.
Minnesota Department of Education
Dr. Rose Wan-Mui Chu will present an overview of how Minnesota is approaching its evidence-based practices scale up work. Having been a systems engineer, Dr. Chu has a fresh perspective of education and systems change. She’ll share the challenges they are experiencing in realizing their vision, and describe how policy level change impacts the practice level (school, teacher, student, community, business, etc.). We hope you can join us for this meeting.
What is something you know about yourself and drives who you are?
What are you unapologetic about (goals, mission)?Example: I am unapologetic about trying to look at effect rather than effort. I think those of us who work with the SPDG Network work this way, but sometimes it is hard to press forward with this emphasis in meetings. But we do.
