Michelle Massar, Ph.D. is an Associate Principal in Washougal School District. She has experience as a special education teacher, behavior specialist, instructional coach, and district-level Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) coach.
This session will define the coaching process and describe the role of a coach in supporting implementation. The four mechanisms of effective coaching will be discussed and ideas for supporting the professional development of coaches will be shared.
