Dr. Tracy Gray is a Managing Director at the American Institutes for Research, where she leads the Center for Technology Implementation’s PowerUp WHAT WORKS (www.Power Up What Works.org) and the Center for Technology and Disability. She is a nationally recognized expert in the use of technology to enhance teaching and learning for students with disabilities. Her projects and writings have focused on the development and integration of evidence-based resources and tools that leverage the power of technology to broaden the reach and impact of professional development activities through blended learning.
Dr. Judith Zorfass is currently the principal investigator and senior advisor for PowerUp What Works. She is a national expert on technology implementation, with a particular focus on students with disabilities and how digital tools can improve school success. At Education Development Center (EDC), she led more than 25 funded projects focusing on research, curriculum development, product development, professional development, and website development—all with an emphasis on stuggling students and those with disabilites.
The purpose of this webinar is to demonstrate how PowerUp WHAT WORKS can support the work of the SPDG network to enhance the reach and impact of its ongoing activities. More specifically, we will focus on how PowerUp, a free online professional learning environment can enhance the:
• integration of technology into ongoing personnel preparation and professional development initiatives
• planning and implementation of blended professional development
We will conclude with identifying ways the PowerUp team can support the work of the SPDG network.
