Purpose
The goal of this project is to both improve educational results for children and youth with disabilities from diverse communities through the delivery of effective, high-quality instruction, and to ensure the recruitment, hiring, and retention of a diverse, highly-qualified special education workforce.
Method
Activities of this project include: (a) providing evidence-based personnel development; (b) partnering with school districts, higher education, national centers, and other agencies to provide staff development on evidence-based practices within the context of Minnesota Department of Education's ongoing initiatives; and (c) providing leadership and overall management of contractual and non-contractual partners.
