Purpose
This project will improve and expand effective practices of the current State improvement grant.

Method
A coherent leadership development system will be developed for school leaders and district leadership teams (superintendents, central office/directors of special education, principals, teacher leaders, parent/family members, board members) specifically focused on improving the performance of all students, especially low-performing students in districts identified as being in "district improvement" statue. A diverse stakeholder advisory group will guide the development of content to ensure the meaningful engagement and involvement of multiple perspectives and partnerships. This group will also ensure that Ohio's regional providers who are identified to support District Leadership Teams possess th common core of knowledge needed to improve the performance of students most at risk. The system will be deployed through an integrated school improvement process that incorporates and maximizes the expertise of Special Education Regional Resource Center providers, while allowing for multiple, effective delivery methods depending on district need for focus/magnitude of change.
